IAW Section 312 of federal SARA Title III, the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) states that any facility covered by the Federal OSHA Hazard Communication Standard must report Extremely Hazardous Substances (EHSs), as identified under Section 302, in quantities at or above the Threshold Planning Quantities (TPQs), or 500 pounds (whichever is less); and/or Hazardous chemicals, regulated by the federal OSHA Hazard Communication Standard, which are present at your facility at or above 10,000 pounds at any one time during the calendar year. During training we identify which chemicals telecoms have on-site, to include Sulfuric Acid and Lead, which may exceed these thresholds and require reporting to the EPA.
