Recently, the issue of bullying has been in the spotlight, and we have seen the devastating effects it can have on the individuals being targeted. However, we know that bullying is not a new problem. It has been tolerated in the workplace for many years. With the data we have today we are beginning to have a clearer understanding of bulling in the workplace, the toll it can take on the individuals and organization. During this course we will be discussing the characteristics, the effects of bullying behavior and strategies for creating a bully-free work environment. We also look at bullying and children, discuss ways to protect our children and methods to keep children safe.
